Our vision is bigger: buy this building into community ownership, grow a South West centre for boxing and sport, and build pathways for young people who do not thrive in mainstream settings — honestly labelled as ambition until it is funded and registered.

Our landlord wants to sell the building. An indicative valuation around £1.1 million [confirm: exact price, tenure & survey] puts the home of Intense Boxing at risk of becoming someone else’s warehouse — or pricing community sport out.
Since 2011 this gym has been where Honicknowle kids throw their first jab — and where professional champions still come to improve. Losing the bricks means losing the culture.
